Getting YOUR Hotel Licence

We are sorry that Thailand is now appears to be heading for major problems with its Tourism & Travel Industry.

The Hotel Act and its amendment of 2016 will affect virtually every building in the Kingdom of Thailand and tens of thousands of business owners and hundred of thousands of rooms, who have been trying to operate legitimate businesses.

This will also affect many visitors/tourists to Thailand.

Effectively a blanket ban has been imposed on ANY room/rooms that are offered for daily rental.

The Hotel Act (1979)(2004) and the Ministerial amendment which was passed on 19th August 2016 has made ALL buildings and rooms regardless of size and number become subject to inspections and criteria that are impossible to comply with. These include Environmental Impact, Building Codes, Architectural Certification and many more regulations before you will ever be able to get a licence (if at all).

Obviously buildings need to be inspected, regulated and hold the correct licences to provide safe and comfortable accommodation for the 37.2 million visitors we have to Thailand each year.

We agree that these small businesses also need to be paying tax and registered with local authorities, and many of them are.

BUT.

How can a small homestay, guesthouse, villa or a couple of rooms above a bar be subject to the same inspections and regulations as a REAL HOTEL.

This is a very important issue in Thailand, and we can try and change this together.

We have only recently started this particular company in response to the crisis to small businesses in Thailand that affected a number of personal friends. We have all been involved in the travel, tourism and accommodation industry for many years.

As the laws on rental accommodation vary from country to country there is a need for OTA’s that are specifically designed to maximise profit for hosts, and provide good quality, fair priced, safe, registered accommodation for travellers, and to stay within the laws of each country.

Obviously correct licencing should be introduced, businesses registered, tax should be paid and laws should be obeyed, as it benefits all of Thailand

We have a great team of staff and a great legal team from one of the biggest international legal firms in Thailand, sponsored financial backing to ensure our members are protected, and the common sense to see that the law although needs adjustments. It can be still operated within, and still continue earning an income from your home/investment/business.

We know the numbers are there as over 61,000 listings are currently online with just one online travel agent and many more on other OTA’s, with the vast majority of those rooms now trading illegally.

Our new OTA has over 20 partner sites, access to link with another 30+ of the biggest OTA’s worldwide, including Airbnb, Agoda, Expedia, TripAdvisor, HomeAway………., legal forms for free download, licence information, low commission, local updates and laws that relate to your business, unique booking system to ensure maximum income,  direct payment gateways, full listing details and so much more including the fact that you will be operating legally.

We will notify our Facebook Group Members of the launch date of the NEW OTA first.
